France Cottage

France Cottage is a beautiful period cottage situated within a village location in the South Downs National Park. It offers all of the charm of a cottage originally built in the 1700s, but incorporating many of the conveniences of modern day life. Even the name has a strong connection to the history of the area. There was a prisoner of war camp close to the cottage housing French prisoners of war from the Nepoleonic Wars (1793-1815).
